The Kindness Project is an all-volunteer, donation based, non-profit organization created to provide support to foster families in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas by supplying clothing, furniture and other essential items free of charge to children in foster care. We have a physical shop located in Emmaus, PA called “The Kindness Exchange.”

Our goal as a ‘foster closet’ is to provide ALL clothing, furniture, equipment, school supplies, and any other necessity a family might need for FREE so they can consider taking a child into their home - of any age.

Our ultimate goal is to enable the foster family to provide for the most basic needs of the child QUICKLY and help ease the transition of the child(ren) into their new foster home family. The more we can alleviate the financial stresses for our resource families, the more love and emotional support can be provided to the children in their care. We are thankful to all of our donors who allow us to serve these amazing families and children!
